Hey, hey! Happy Sunday and almost-Spring!
It’s absolutely gorgeous outside, but unfortunately, we’re staying inside taking care of a cranky and slightly under-the-weather little boy. 🙁
Friday night was low-key, but we old fogies wouldn’t have it any other way. Mark made a killer vegetarian shepherd’s pie (with portobello mushrooms instead of our usual ground beef), and we broke our alcohol fast for a day to enjoy some Irish beer. No green for me, though.
Yesterday was so much fun celebrating some special twin girls’ first birthday. Bazooka finally came out of his shell (ok, his nap was cut short so that was probably it) and enjoyed the bouncy house. And cake, of course. Always cake!
Today we’re cleaning, doing some laundry, and spending as much time outside in the yard as we can before heading back to work tomorrow.
Can you believe tomorrow is the first day of Spring? It’s definitely felt spring-like for a longggg time here, but as much as I love winter, I’m ready for sundresses, sandals, crawfish boils, and all the wonderful outdoor things.
